Explore the Ozarks this season from the seat of a vintage passenger train on Branson’s Scenic Railway. The train departs from the historic depot in downtown, originally built in 1905, and gives travelers the choice of two routes: the northern route or the southern route.
The northern trip will take you through the Missouri countryside while the southern one will venture out into Arkansas. Each trip runs roughly and hour and 45 minutes total and comes complete with an expert guide to point out wildlife, scenery, landmarks and other fun facts along the way.
If you’re visiting us this holiday season, be sure to check out The Polar Express tours running from November through mid-December. These special rides have a special visit from Santa as well as hot cocoa, Christmas carols, treats and more.
The train departs daily at 11:30 a.m. with special excursions on the weekend for the Polar Express taking off at 11:30 a.m., 2 p.m., 4:45 p.m., 6:30 p.m., and 8:15 p.m.
