An Old Time Christmas

Old Time ChristmasBranson is famous for many things but one of the biggest and brightest is our Christmas festivals. The Old Time Christmas Festival starts November 1 and runs through January 1 at Branson’s Silver Dollar City.

Featuring over 1.5 million lights, there is no shortage of sparkle in the park. This year, the festival is debuting a brand new Christmas tree that is over 80 feet tall!

Festival highlights include Broadway-style performances of “It’s A Wonderful Life” and’ “A Dickens Christmas Carol,” meet-and-greets with Santa and Rudolph, a Christmas Night Parade and more.

After walking through the park, you’re sure to work up an appetite. Luckily, the Mine Restaurant will be serving a delicious Christmas buffet with smoked brisket, pineapple glazed ham, candied sweet potatoes, pumpkin pie and more tasty, festive treats.

Before you leave, make sure to stop to do some holiday shopping to grab some gifts for everyone one your list.
