The beautiful colors and seemingly endless variety of patterns of butterflies captivate people of all ages.
More than 1,000 species of the fluttery creatures make their abode at the Butterfly Palace. When you visit the attraction and walk along the paved walkways of the conservatory, don’t be surprised if one of them lands on you.
Start by watching the 3-D movie, which shows how butterflies live. Next, move on to the Emerald Forest Mirror Maze, where you’ll find a network of paths amid a tropical forest. Don’t miss the Insect Zoo that houses insects from around the world. Before you leave, stop at the gift shop.
Tours are self-guided. Expect to stay two hours to see everything. Cameras and video cameras are allowed.
The Palace is open seven days per week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and admission is $11.10 for ages 4 to 12 and $21.15 for ages 13 and older. It is handicapped accessible. Plan a trip here soon.
