American’s Best Campground will be housing the horses for Shires for Hire, a local company that offers horse-drawn carriage rides for Branson’s Ozark Christmas Village and Light Display. What could be better than to ride in such a conveyance along a magical mile of sparkling lights. The display is right next door to the park, which makes it extremely convenient and easy to find. You’ll have your choice of either driving your car or riding in the carriage. The experience will surely put you in the Christmas spirit.

It opens on November 5 and continues through January 2. The drive is open from 5:30 p.m. to 11 p.m., and the village is open from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday through Sunday. Tickets for the carriage rides and Christmas Village may be purchased at the front desk.
