The two-story Titanic Museum is shaped like the famous ship and is anchored in water to create the impression of being at sea. A fascinating visit for both children and adults, it gives visitors a sense of what those onboard experienced on that fateful day in history. The 90-minute self-guided tour involves plenty of artifacts as well as several stories of individual passengers.

Shepherd of the Hills Trout Hatchery

An educational attraction, the Shepherd of the Hills Hatchery produces more than a million trout annually. Visitors can view a large aquarium, watch a video of the process and take guided tours that show the fish in each stage of development. The grounds of the facility have trails that showcase plants and wildflowers native to the Ozarks. Exploring the area makes a fun and informative family excursion.

The attraction is free of charge except for the quarters needed to buy food to feed the fish. Tours are conducted weekdays at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 2 p.m.
