Looking for some safe fun this Halloween for the kids or grandkids? Branson is rolling out the black and orange carpet for a family-friendly good time!
Start the holiday early on Saturday the 28th at the Branson RecPlex for the Halloween BOOnanza, sponsored by Branson Parks and Recreation. They’ll have lots of traditional fall activities for the kiddos, including a trick-or-treat maze, a “haunted” hay ride, and a costume contest. But kids can also make crafts and play games, get their faces painted, or jump on inflatables while enjoying Halloween-themed concessions. The whole family will enjoy the Sonshine Monster Mob’s performance of Thriller and a movie screening of the Munsters. Admission is $2 per child with no charge for adults, and the event lasts from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. For more information, check out their website here.
The Branson Landing is always full of activity, and Halloween is no exception. On Tuesday, October 31st from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., participating merchants will once again host the 11th Annual Safe Street Trick or Treat night. This special free event allows costumed kids up to age twelve to turn the Promenade into their own private street for trick or treating. Make sure to look for the shops with Halloween Pumpkin signs in their windows. Make your way to the Branson Landing Queen who’ll be holding court in Town Square for more treats, and stick around for the Monster Mash Street Dance beginning at 6:30 p.m. For more information, check out the Landing’s website here.
