Summer is here, which means it’s time for fun in the sun! And nothing says summertime quite like playing in water! Whether you want to sit by the pool or have a wild day at a waterpark, Branson has a few great spots to get wet and have fun!
Waterparks in Branson
White Water- White Water Waterpark, located on the strip, has been ranked one of the top waterparks in the US by USA Today. This outdoor waterpark boasts 13 acres of water attractions throughout the park that utilize more than 2 million gallons of water! Cool off at the Surf’s Up Wave Pool or let the little ones loose at Coconut Bay splash area. Thrill-seekers will love the KaPau Plummet, which has two slides that launch riders from a drop-floor into a 70-degree plunge! Talk about a wild ride! When you get hungry, you can drop into Hula Hula Taco for some delicious grub or pop over to North Shore Coffee & Cones for a sweet treat. Castle Rock Resort & Waterpark– Castle Rock sells day passes to its indoor waterpark for $15 each (kids 2 and younger are free) that will give you something to do on a rainy day or when you need to spend some time out of the sun. Featuring 150,000 gallons of water, this climate-controlled waterpark has 30,000 square feet of indoor waterpark and 10,000 square feet of outdoor waterpark! Enjoy the 500 gallon tipping bucket, indoor and outdoor kiddie pools, themed water slides and so much more. There are two three-story thrill slides, a multi-level sundeck and a lazy river- definitely something for everyone!
Grand Country Resort & Waterpark– Grand Country sells day passes to its indoor waterpark for $25 plus tax each for ages two and up (kids younger than 2 are free). The waterpark is open 10 am- 10 pm daily and you can walk to the front desk and purchase tickets for the day you’d like to play at the waterpark. This year there are two new slides called Highwall Heights that feature an LED show as you make your way down the slides. The waterpark features nine attractions in all, including a treehouse with a 1,000 gallon tipping bucket and hot tubs! There are indoor and outdoor attractions, making this a great spot for any day of your trip!
