Many brave men and women have served our country honorably. Some even paid the ultimate sacrifice. The best way to honor them is not to forget our history and to preserve mementos of the past for future generations. The Branson Veterans Memorial Museum does an excellent job of preserving and displaying the treasures of our armed forces. A visit there is a great way to renew your patriotism while learning more about the brave soldiers who defend us.
The museum contains ten halls that cover different conflicts of the 20th century, from World War I to the urban warfare of Desert Storm. You’ll love exploring the displays of historical artifacts, period artwork, and authentic military wear from the different branches. Along with the physical memorabilia, the names of those killed in the line of duty line the walls. It truly is a remarkable experience for everyone in the family.
The museum is open from 9 AM-5 PM Sunday through Tuesday, and 9 AM-6 PM Wednesday through Saturday. Rates start at $19.95 for adults, $11.25 for teens, and $5.65 for children. You can get all the information you need here.
