Kayaking in Branson

As the weather begins to warm up and you start planning your next Branson adventure, you’re sure to want to explore the beautiful outdoors that the city has to offer.

Branson’s Lake Taneycomo has smooth waters that are perfect for the beginner while the current will help guide you along. While Table Rock Lake, on the southwest side of Branson, consists of still waters which make for more of a challenge. For kayakers who are looking for more of a workout, consider Table Rock Lake as there is not much of a current to help push you along and you’ll be doing most of the work yourself. However, once out on the water, it makes for a relaxing day and a great opportunity for fishing, taking pictures and just enjoying the scenery.

If you don’t own your own kayak, not to worry! There are plenty of options for kayak rentals around the lakes such as Kayak Branson and White River Kayaking. Both locations have options for single and double kayaks, perfect for families or groups, and include life jackets for safety.
