Old Time Christmas at Silver Dollar City

Branson is one of the best places in the country to visit during the holiday season. One of the events that make the city so much fun at this time is the Old Time Christmas at Silver Dollar City, which is held from now until December 31.

The 5 million lights have turned the area into a dazzling wonderland. A focal point is a several-story-high Christmas tree that features shows involving synchronized music and lights. The attraction has lots of food and beverage vendors, some offering holiday treats such as wassail and hot apple dumplings with cinnamon ice cream. Shopping options consist of two dozen stores like Jingle Bell Junction, an enterprise that displays 80 themed trees and an array of holiday décor. When the weather permits, exciting rides are in operation as well.

In the evenings at Silver Dollar, don’t miss Rudolph’s Holly Jolly Christmas Parade. It will include lighted musical floats and 33 costumed characters like Bumble the Abominable Snow Monster. The address is 399 Silver Dollar City Pkwy.
