Branson is known as being an entertainment center and the recent COVID-19 pandemic has put a hold on a lot of the wonderful shows and performances in the city. However, now that the city is starting to open many theaters are opening their doors as well, including the Hughes Brothers Theater.
The Hughes Brothers Theater sits in the heart of Branson and is a landmark famous for being the previous home to music legend Roy Clark. The theater is now known for the Hughes family performances.
In 2000 the Hughes brothers took over the theater and as their family has grown, so have the performances. The brothers, their wives and cumulative 35 children and grandchildren now perform, manage and own the theater.
One of the highlight performances is the The Hughes Music Show, a show combining vocal harmonies, instrumental arrangements and bit of comedy. Each performance features a state-of-the-art sound and lights that take the music to the next level.
Not to mention, each show comes with the option to add on a chef inspired meal before any 8 p.m. show!
The theater has reopened their doors as of May 21 and due to social distancing, each show will have limited seating so purchasing tickets early is encouraged.
