Start your Christmas Season Early

This year Branson is giving you the gift of an early Christmas season. So if you’re feeling holly and jolly this year, check out the best lights in town. Stay at America’s Best Campground in Branson for a relaxing Christmas vacation.

Christmas Season starts on Nov. 1 in Branson, and the Shepherd of the Hills Trail of Lights opens to the public. The Trail of Lights is a drive-thru animation display that winds through the historic 160-acre Shepherd of the Hills Homestead. It will take you down the famous “Trail that Nobody Knows How Old.”

The trail includes a variety of different lands with their own theme, from fantasy to religious and patriotic. Life-size 3D characters have their own housing so you can peek inside. Holiday Music is themed to each scene – feel free to sing along!

And the best part is the millions of multi-colored Christmas lights. There are hundreds of lighted displays and some cheery animated scenes. The grand finale includes a trip to the Inspiration Tower, where you can ride glass elevators up to 230 feet and view the lights from above.

There is also the Branson Area Festival of Lights, a drive-through one-mile path of illuminated displays. It’s located off of Shepherd of the Hills Expressway and Roark Valley Road. The Festival of Lights is open Nov. 1 – Dec. 31, from dusk till 11 p.m.

Don’t miss these Christmas spectacles!
