Summer 2021 is almost behind us… But there are still a few warm weekends on the horizon to enjoy the sunshine and warm weather before we start to pull out sweatshirts in anticipation of autumn’s cooler weather. If you haven’t made it to the beach or the lake yet this summer, it’s not too late! Branson has a few areas where you can pop up a beach umbrella, spread out a towel and simply soak up the sunshine.
Best Beaches in Branson
Branson may not be the top destination that pops into mind when you start envisioning a summer beach getaway. But Branson has a few great spots where you can build sandcastles and dip your toes in the water. Don’t forget your sunscreen!
Moonshine Beach– Moonshine Beach is a sweet spot of sandy shores along Table Rock Lake. No alcohol or pets are allowed on Moonshine Beach but there are picnic areas available for public use. The water is clear, and kids will love trying to catch the fish that live in Table Rock Lake. Pack a picnic and spend the day on this enjoyable beach in Branson.
Indian Point Public Use Area– This area boasts a small place to swim and so much more! You don’t need to camp here to be able to access the swimming and recreation areas for the day, although a small fee may apply per person. The water is clear and temperature isn’t too cold, but be sure to pack flip flops or water shoes because the beach is comprised of pebbles, not sand!
