Veteran’s Homecoming Week in Branson

Veterans Day ParadeBranson is known for many things, but one that we are most proud of is being home to America’s largest Veterans Day celebration. This year’s celebration takes place Nov. 5-11 and is dedicated to honor veterans, Active Duty armed forces and their families. Several events take place throughout the week, beginning with the Opening Ceremony at 11 a.m. Nov. 5 at Welk Resort Theater.

A vendor village will be held at the Ballpark of the Americas from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily, and the week is full of sporting clay shoots, plays, tribute shows, tree dedications and more. The most popular event is the annual Veterans Day Parade on Nov. 11 starting in Downtown Branson at 11 a.m.

Branson is a destination for Veterans year-round and many love to visit the Veterans Memorial Museum. The museum features artifacts and information on all service branches, including sculptures, memorabilia and murals.

Plan your visit and stay with us at America’s Best Campground. We give all Veterans and active military a discount on the RV and tent sites and also a member of Tents for Troops.
