Winter Pleasures in Branson

Branson is a very enjoyable place to be even in winter. The weather isn’t harsh, as the average daytime high temperature during January is 44° F. Since the climate is congenial, many of the shows remain open. In addition, the city offers other interesting pursuits.

Bundle up in a warm jacket, hat and gloves to take a walk in the bracing air. You’ll find an array of trails through forested areas or around lakes that offer lovely views. Some of your options include Piney Creek Wilderness, Mark Twain National Forest, Table Rock Lakeshore Trail, Shepherd of the Hills Hatchery Trail and Dogwood Canyon Nature Park.

Golfing or Mini Golfing

Exercising in the fresh air is invigorating any time of year. You can get a workout at one of several city golf courses such as Branson Hills Golf Club and Thousand Hills Golf Resort.

Whether you’re a child or a senior adult, a game of mini golf is always fun. Some of your options are Brookside Mini Golf, Branson’s Wild World and Greatest Adventures.
